August Teas

Hello, hello! I know that it’s odd for me to post my tea boxes late, however, I decided to have an un interrupted stream of book reviews last month. Also, I know it’s weird that it’s not on a Tuesday that this is coming to you. That’s because I did not want to overwhelm you yesterday, with more posts. It’s going to be a lot for the next few weeks, as I catch up on things. Thanks for being there everyone! Now! Into tea!

Month: August 2020

Tart-Tea to the Par-Tea by Tea Kitten

This tea is made from Hibiscus, apple, papaya, currants, elderberries, black currants, flavoring, raspberries, strawberries, sunflower, and cornflower.

Honestly, this smell reminds me a lot of medicine. The color is also very medicine in color. I really could taste the apple and the hibiscus. It honestly wasn’t too bad, however if I’m going to go out of my way to drink a tea, it would not be this one. I might make this one a iced tea for my parents and see if they like it. They tend to like the fruity teas.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Love & Laughter by Biron Teas

This tea is made from licorice root, rosehips, rose buds & petals, schisandra berries, oatstraw, stevia leaf, yarrow flower, holy basil leaf, anise seed, and natural flavor (all organic)

Oh I love this tea. When I first smelled it. When I first tasted the sweet roses. Everything about it is so heavenly. I drank this tea for as many cups as I could get out of the bags. It is very light, very rosy, very sweet. There is the hint of licorice and basil. And the stevia makes it very sweet. I highly recommend.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Peppermint Cuppa Chocolate by The Republic of Tea

This tea is made from rooibos, carob, cocoa kernels, peppermint leaves, sweet blackberry leaves, natural mint flavoring, natural chocolate flavoring, and natural vanilla flavoring.

I expected myself to like this a lot less than I do. I have realized that chocolate teas are not for me. Thus, when I saw that this tea was chocolate, I was like. MMMM. In terms of flavor, this tea is very chocolaty. However the peppermint does bring it back, to make it a bit more tolerable for me. Big winter feels. For that reason, I can be okay with it. Mint for the win! Something about this tea makes me feel that it also might do really well as a chilled frap. IDK. I’ll try it out.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Natural Rooibos by Rooibos Rocks

This tea is made from 100% pure natural USDA organic rooibos tea.

This tea is what it says it is, and if you have not had straight rooibos, this is it. I have realized that I def don’t hate Rooibos. It is very strong but with nothing other than rooibos, its pretty relaxing. I’d recommend this tea to anyone who is interested.

I feel like it has been forever since I last had a box of all caffeine-free. Not that its an issue that the other boxes had low caffeine, but that I haven’t seen it in a while. This box was a mixed bag for me, which is not too surprising at points. In general it was fun, but I’m expecting more fall flavors next month.
