I feel like I can easily rant about things I can not stand far better than I can say the things I like. I will not get into ones I am apathetic towards.

Happy Monday Everyone!
I know that I traditionally blog on Wednesdays. Today is not a Wednesday. Today is a Monday. However, I felt a passion to write out something that I discovered just recently that has sparked my interest to read again.
As you may have known, I got into a book slump sometime in February. March was pretty slow for book reviews. I’ve been trying to get myself out of the slump to no avail and then I saw this readathon on Instagram (if you don’t follow me, do @themarlenamarie). It’s the OWL readathon.
Essentially it works with Harry Potter themes, using the O.W.L.s (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) as a prompt. More information here. I love Harry Potter and this readathon really sparked me to want to read more. As such I am going to attempt it to complete it. Not only that but I will be attempting to complete it now more than a week into the month, all while trying to read books I have never read before. (Spoiler IDK If I can).
Some of the books on this list you will notice are not in my preferred genre. That’s because they are my mother’s books. I told her about it and she recommended books. She may be attempting it as well.

I would like to start this by saying that you, as an audience, are terrible with filling out polls. Whatever, I decided to start with tropes. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
In general there are Tropes that I like as compared to tropes that I don’t care about or hate. I had to think of this for a while, and google some ideas of what tropes exist when I went into a blank. Because to be honest there are far more tropes that I don’t like than the ones that I do. I feel like I should make a post about tropes that I hate too. I guess I have a post for next week then.

Outside of Alice, I love a few specific troupes and myths and creatures. I’ve decided that for weekly blog posts I will write about them all. I haven’t decided which ones to write about first and so maybe you all could help. Here is an overview of what I can write about.

Memories. They come and go tickling the senses as they do. The smell of grass. An old book. Spring rain. Autumn wind. The feeling of summer’s heat, blue skies, or gray ones if you like. I know that when I hear the sound of bike bells I remember the years of riding our bikes and skate boards and scooters to the park. The baseball game would be going on and with our twenty dollars we could fill up our small bags with candy and sweets. But we had to be fast or else our parents would notice we left the neighborhood. All that candy we just bought? It needed to be scarfed down before we forced our stomachs to endure a healthy food shock that was dinner.
