July Reading List

July Reading List

Oh my goodness. I did it. I read this many books. I really dove in to finish series this last month, and I got two done! I still have not touched the one series yet, but I will get to it at some point. Not that it matters because I got THESE books done. I am so proud of myself! September is going to be a lot more about manga, webnovels and TV shows than it is books so this month and August are going to be my heaviest reading months this year, I think. Not that I care. I’m ready!

Date with Destiny: Owl Crate

Alright another book box for you! Aren’t you so excited for this one, like I am? Do I have any clue as to what this book is? Nope! Am I excited for the book all the same? YUP. Book boxes bring me such joy, even if I am getting a bunch of things I really have no business holding on to in some cases. I am having an amazing day in general, so I hope you all are too!

July 2020 Owl Crate: Date with Destiny.

I actually write these posts days before they come out, in most cases. Which means that my general mood for today, is the day in which I am writing this. Either way, I’m happy to spread the happiness and good vibes. Good vibes, friends!

A Different Kind of Magic: FairyLoot Box

I have a good feeling that I will be getting July’s box the first week of August. This box didn’t have everything, however. Because of production, the Tarot cards and bag for the books, were not added. I don’t mind. It is a tough time for everyone, and their site was breached. I’m just happy that this arrive. I won’t lie tho, when I first saw it, I thought it was for my CP and WK editions. I was wrong. How unfortunate lol

June 2020 FairyLoot Box: A Different Kind of Magic.

This box had two books included! One is an ARC that will not release until 2021, Spring. I’m not in a big pressure to read it then. LOL. I’m already looking at my TBR for next month like… I’m really going out and beyond what I typically do for reading. And you know what? I’m okay with that. LOL anyway, without further ado.

Weekly Update

Hello Voidfriends!

I’ll start by saying that June was a mixed bag for me. While May was pretty much horrible on my mental state and the likes, June was just as stressful albeit in different ways. However, unlike May, I did get a lot more reading done and I feel a lot better with how I spent my June than my May. So then why is it that I haven’t put out almost any reviews?

Well.

I have a backlog right now, that I am waiting on posting because of book club. I am waiting to add the book club thoughts to the reviews, and so it is taking me a while to post many of the reviews. Book club gets pushed back because of life events for those in book club. Its no big deal, but for those of you who are wondering where the reviews are. That’s where they are.

Also, I have the two series reviews that I’m working on. I decided not to review Mistborn on its own but as a series. Why? No clue, it’s just what I decided, since I did it for Lightbringer. As it is now, I could probably change that decision yet. I’ll figure it out.

As for other content. Short stories, I have queue. They just need to be edited. There is a lot of stuff that I promised you, that I just haven’t gotten to you. The book list of my TBR shelf from December 2019, for my 2020 reading challenges. The list of what books I’m reading for some of those challenges. The rating system for books that I said I’d get the official rules out for. With how I feel after last month, I am more certain in myself and my capabilities of being able to get these out to you.

That’s all I wanted to let you know! Once, again. Thanks for being here!

Until Next Time,

MM

July TBR

Alright here is my TBR for July! This month I decided to do series. Like how last month was for classics. This means, in theory, lots and lots of reviews. Why? Because I am going to be reviewing near everything. Nearly, I think at least.

June Reading List

June Reading List

I did far better on my TBR this month actually lol. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to do a lot for the large books but it’s fine. I cut down a few classics. Plus, The Final Empire was just too good. This list is far from complete, because at some point I stopped tracking everything. And I’m too lazy to go back and figure it all out. Next month I promise, I’ll be far, far better.

Here is what I read in June.
