July Teas

Hello Voidfriends! I hope you are having a lovely Tuesday. Like I predicted, my tea box came in! Four new teas coming your way. As always, if anyone is interested, this is the sipsby box. I highly recommend them. My friend got me the subscription (first three months) almost two years ago now.

Month: July 2020

Blackcurrant Beauty by Pukka

This team is made from rosehip, hibiscus flower, licorice root, sweet fennel seed, orange peel, beetroot, blackcurrant fruit, natural blackcurrant flavor, and orange essential oil flavor.

Oh. I don’t think I like this. Something about the flavoring just doesn’t sit well with me. The worst part is I’m not sure its the licorice or the blackcurrant. Either way, its not the worst thing I’ve tasted but I def do not want again.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Natural Glow by The Tea Spot

This tea is made from organic white tea and organic osmanthus flowers.

Not gonna lie, the container/bag for the tea bags is the cutest ever. It’s so cute. I, unfortunately, do not know what osmanthus flowers are supposed to taste like. As such, I was trying to find a flavor that I did no know.

I’m not sure if its because this is the first of the teas I’m tasting, or if its the time of the day, but I taste the white tea. I don’t taste the flower. It is like an initial taste (the white tea), and then nothing, it vanishes like water, all trace of it disappearing. It did, however, leave me feeling refreshed. I’m certain there is another flavor there but I don’t know how to describe it. All I can say is I liked it.

This tea has low levels of caffeine.

Raspberry Green by I.E. Green Tea

This tea is made from organic green tea, purified spring water, natural raspberry flavor, citric acid, and natural stevia.

Pre-brewed tea. I have never had. It’s like a liquid packet that you add to your tea and it then mixes with the water. It was technically supposed to be mixed in 10-16oz of water. My cups that I use for tasting are only 8oz, so this is going to be really strong. It smells really strong, so yeah, I have little hope that it won’t be strong. I’ll keep that in mind as I taste it.

WOO. That was strong. My first reaction was that there was sugar in it. Guess what. There was not! That means that the flavoring and the citric acid are making it taste that way (or at least I think so). Not going to lie, but as a cool tea this would be great. Also, it def needs to be brewed with more water. I will def do that next time. It seems to be marketed as a energy drink. Not going to lie, that’s exactly what it reminds me of. Either way I like it.

This tea has low levels of caffeine.

Detox by Snarky Tea

This tea is made from green rooibos, fenugreek, dandelion, ginger root, licorice root, holy basil, and lemon grass.

I really taste that rooibos, basil, ginger, and lemon grass. The flavors all wrap around each other in an interesting mix that I don’t hate but would certainly not be a daily tea for me. Its too strong, in my opinion. However that does not mean it is bad.

After a long day where I need to have a face mask and a bath, this would be a great tea to drink. Actually! I should do that. That sounds heavenly.

This tea is caffeine-free.

I got two fruit teas this month, which is a little odd to me. Not that I don’t like fruit but that, its not my preferred. I must be behind on my report to sips on giving them my rating for teas. I’ll have to go and add my rating there, so they can use it for my next teas. As it is RN, I don’t have any plans for giving you anything tomorrow. However between here and then, anything could change. You will be the last to know, unfortunately, because you’ll only know if something posts lol.

I hope you have a wonderful day! I hope your week is magnificent. Only a few more days until July is over!

Until Next Time,

MM
