Top Ten Tuesday: Book Quotes

Oh my gosh guys! I’m back at it with the Top Ten Tuesday posts. I will be working on getting book reviews back up and running soon. I already have them ready, sorta. LOL (Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.)

May 24: Book Quote Freebie

For this prompt we were told that it could be any theme, or anything of the sort, that we like. I feel, to be easy on myself, I’m going to do…

It’s very easy actually.

Note that these are quotes from books that I’ve actually read, and in my preference of the quotes, so don’t get sassy. Thanks.

“Because that kiss broke open some dark night sky within me filled with stars and moons and flaming comets. That darkness was replaced by the blazing fire of the sun racing under my skin.”

Fable by Adrienne Young

“I like the night. Without the dark, we’d never see the stars.”

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

“And no matter how desperate or dire, never pray to the gods that answer after dark.”

The Invisible Life of Addie La’Rue by V.E. Schwab

“They are midnight creatures, born of darkness and moonlight. And they seek only to destroy. Guard your hearts; if given the chances they’ll rip them from your chests and guzzle your blood as it steams in the night.”

Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco

“Nothing is written in the stars. Not these stars, nor any others. No one controls your destiny.”

Wicked by Gregory Maguire

“But whatever life lay ahead of me was mine paid for in full, and every point of light in the sky above was another path for me to follow. And there sure are a lot of stars up there.”

Crownbreaker by Sebastien De Castell

“Moonlight drowns out all but the brightest stars.”

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

“The Blackness between the stars is the melanin in your skin.”

The Stars and the Blackness Between Them by Junauda Petrus

“We are all stardust and stories.”

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgerstern

“These were stories between the stars.”

Omniscient Reader Viewpoint

I am really going to try my best to keep up with these as we continue going forward. Just as I am going to try my best to update this blog before June. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I am saying that it is going to be difficult for me. Regardless, I will try.

As I was going through these, I realized just now many great lines I have collected about stories themselves. Like there are a lot. Some of my favorite too. I suppose that means that on the Free-for-all I might come back to this and do quotes about stories. LOL or maybe not. IDK. There are so many good ones. Either way, I’ll hopefully see you next week!

Until Next Time,
