November Teas

Alright. Next tea box is in December. I actually got this last week, but I was too lazy to try teas. That is reserved for today my friends. Let us break into the tea!

Month: November (2019)

Throat Coat Eucalyptus by Traditional Medicinals

This tea is made from organic eucalyptus leaf, organic licorice root, organic spearmint leaf, organic marshmallow root, organic slippery elm bark and organic root dry aqueous extract.

This is one of those teas that has a stronger aftertaste than starting taste, or rather its that you taste it because it really does coat your throat. As a medical tea, I think this tea may do its job if I had a cough, which I do not. Instead I’ll talk about how I like the after taste that cancels out whatever initial bitterness comes from the first taste. Does it smell pretty? Not really. Does it work? I think so. I will have to save these packets to use on a day when I’m sick. Highly recommend.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Dandelion Coconut by Teeccino

This tea is made from roasted organic carob, organic chicory, organic dandelion root, organic dates, organic almonds, organic orange peel, organic coconut, organic figs, and natural coconut and orange flavors.

It sort of smells like chocolate and coconut after. Color wise, it is very red. It has a solid coconut flavor and I don’t much care for it. Coconut is one of those flavors that I’m like “meh” to. Is it a tea that I like? No. Is it a bad tea? I’m not sure. I just know that I don’t like it.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Sleeping Tranquilitea by Full Leaf Tea Co

This tea is made from rooibos, valerian root, peppermint, chamomile, and lavender.

This tea was… not that great. To think that the medical tea was the best tea in the box for me is disappointing. This is especially so, considering how much I have loved my past boxes recently. I don’t know, this tea is just… a tea? The rooibos and valerian counteract the parts of it I like (because I do not like that combination). Sad days.

This tea is caffeine-free.

Dream by Snarkytea

This tea is made from holy basil, rose petal, lemongrass, natural flavor, chamomile, lemon and valerian root.

For something that has so much of what I like, this is not one of my favorite teas. This is a very strong flavor, and something that makes me feel… meh? It’s not horrible but I would not want to really drink it again. I’m going to blame it on the basil.

This tea is caffeine-free.

I’m not sure that I am ready for the Christmas flavors that are going to be thrown at me next month for the December Teas. I know that I will be getting them, and last year they were great. This year I fear that they will be just as dangerous. However, I do hope they are intense. I want something to make the end of my year great tea wise.

Best of luck to me. Until next time!
