January 2019 Teas

Sorry for the lateness of this, although I’m not sure anyone cared much other than me.

I remember really liking this box of tea, it had a lot of flavors that I really liked. I do recommend these teas for anyone who is interested.

Month: January (2019)

Tea 1: Cold Weather Karma by Buddha Teas

This tea is made from Eucalyptus leaf, Elderberry, Marshmallow Leaf, Nettle Leaf, Hibiscus, Spearmint, Licorice Root, and Hyssop (all organic)

This tea isn’t bad, it’s just not my go to tea. It was good, but it was amazing. Thus, I have rated it a 3. It is rich in flavor and relatively light, but it does have a stronger aroma. I’m really happy I got the chance to taste this tea because it would not be my standard go to for tea.

This tea is caffeine-free. Feel free to check them out @buddhateas.

Tea 2: Cup of Sunshine by Traditional Medicinals

This is a herbal tea made from Organic Honey bush and Organic Kanna Herb. Just those two.

This was also a tea that I never expected myself to buy in a market, and when I got it in this box, I was a bit apprehensive. After tasting it, I loved it. It def is one of the better teas that I have had. Its a warm tea and wakes me up. I found myself drawn to picking up its packets when I needed to drink a tea.

This team is caffeine-free. Find them at @tradmedicinals.

Tea 3: Three Mint by Pukka

This mint tea is made from Peppermint Leaf, Spearmint Leaf, and Field Mint Leaf.

I could go on about how I really love his combination, but I’m biased and I really like mint teas. As such can you really trust my judgement? All I know is that this was my favorite tea of the bunch and that’s not going to change.

Another caffeine-free tea! Check Pukka Teas out: @pukkaherbsus.

Tea 4: Snooze by Teapigs

This tea is made from Apple Pieces, Chamomile Flowers, and Lavender Flowers.

I do want to make a warning that it is probably for the best if you are delicate with these tea bags, they rip very easily. The string to hang over the side is attached to the bag and you have to be careful about removing it, or else the bag may rip.

This tea is really light despite the flavors it has. As a note all three of the flavors are very distinct to me, at least. I really like the way that they blend together and form a very cohesive but light flavor. There is a distinct journey where one flavor hits after the other. I get a lot of the lavender at the end with the chamomile in the beginning. This tea was a fun one.

Caffeine-free and soothing, check them out @teapigsus

Well that’s it for January. Hopefully I’ll be able to get myself to finish the next two months for next week. Oh I hope I can. It is so much tea I have saved and so much tea I need to drink.

Until next time,

MM
