I recently created a substack for myself, as well as a substack for Fox Fairy Font.

What about this website?

For a while now, I’ve been using this website as a way to increase my personal brand, and I think I’m going to do that. I think what I’m going to do, is use this more as a blog in general for what I’m feeling how, I’m doing, and where I’m at for all projects that are happening.

I’m going to use the Marlena Marie substack for nonfiction essays and the likes. So, two separate things really. Maybe one day they’ll be the same again, but for now that’s what I’m going to do.

What will be on the Fox Fairy Font Substack?

• Excerpts from my books (probably the whole of chapter 1).
• I’m migrating the webnovels and serials there.
  • The Yasloughve Project
  • Concinnity
  • and More!

As for all other publishing news (like I get into other lit mags) that’ll all be here!

But Why?

Good question. Short answer: followers. I’ve been searching for a way for a while to get more followers and market my stuff, but for a long time it just wasn’t working. Because I figured out that I didn’t like promoting via videos and the likes. I may still go back to TikTok and Insta, but the pressure to create something was eating me alive. This way it’s an attempt by the art itself, rather than me selling it.

There will probably be more thoughts about this in the future. Who knows.

Wish me luck being more crazy than I already am.
