It’s been a while. That’s to say the least. The last time I really talked to you, feels like it was as I was leaving Scotland. I’m back in the US now. I have a new job (along with my old ones).
Things are about to change massively.
No More Book Reviews
This one is probably going to come as a massive shock. This blog has always had book reviews. In fact, it’s how I got most of my followers. The fact that I am going to be getting rid of it, is both something I’ve been thinking about, and a massive change for me. I will be deleting them all. If you check the site today, you’ll probably notice that they are all gone. Right now they are all private. I have a bit of a hard time hard deleting anything. I know that on the blog, I can continue to keep it all private and just continue to post as if those posts do not exist.
However…
The neat-freak in me, is freaking out just thinking about that. I deleted all my emails from my inbox just at the beginning of 2023, and I think it’s time to delete the book reviews. They will all be deleted soon. And then many other site changes will take place.
The Race to Self Publishing
I call it a race, but really it’s going to be working slowly on self publishing. This is part of the reason that I am going out of my way to delete all of my book reviews. I am going to be going all in on self publishing this next year. You’ll be able to watch my progress through blog posts and through the YT videos that I will be creating. I want to track the whole passage through this process.
Those two things may not seem like a massive change, but they will be to me. The backend of this site will make it so that I no longer have a lot of the content that I used to have. I’m not mad about it. In fact, I’m excited. I hope you are all as well!
Anyway. IDK what my end of the year posts will look like but know they will still be coming. Otherwise, get excited for 2024!
