Top Ten Tuesday: Dream Epilouges

Oh no… Another difficult week.

<<Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.>>

June 14: Books I Wish Had An Epilogue

It’s been FOREVER since I read books that I was like, goodness I’d really love an epilogue for this book. Most o the books I want more content for but not really an epilogue. Epilogues are a wrap up, in essence. GL to me I guess.

This becomes even more difficult when I have to pick books from completed series. Or standalones. I just feel like this is rough because I feel that often Authors pick their endings for very specific reasons and to add an epilogue feels to go against that decision. Also, I’d rather that some series were simply COMPLETED (I’m looking at you ASOIAF) over getting an epilogue lol.

10.

Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene

LOL It could be fun to see Nancy as an Adult
lol Idk what is up with this image, but it is center. I swear

9.

That One Fanfiction that Never Completed

I’d love for them to be completed, but I’ll take an epilogue

8.

A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin

I’d really just like the series to be completed. But look if I got an outline and an epilogue that’s fine too.

7.

Zenda by Ken Petti

I WANT THE LAST BOOK. Epilogue is okay too

6.

Priory or the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

Mostly because I think it would be hilarious for that book to be longer than it already is.

5.

Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks

I was lowkey going to say the Night Angel books, but looks like we’re getting another book soooooo. I pick Lightbringer, because light magic is top tier and I want more of it.

4.

Crownbreaker by Sebastien De Castell

It could really be fun to see the characters like 5 years in the future (although the end line of that book is one of my favorite lines and an epilogue would ruin the impact)

3.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

Imagine it. At the end of the novel we get the beginning of Alice in Wonderland and see the mad queen on her throne.

2.

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

Let’s just say I would love to have an entire epilogue dedicated to libraries. Thanks.

1.

Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

I WANT MORE CONTENT

Half of this is a meme and I’m not even angry. Hopefully the next few weeks are easier on me lol.

That’s all I have for this week. See you next week!

Until Next Time,

MM
