YP Update

Hello Everyone who reads YP!

I suppose you realized that last weekend we reached chapter 199 of the continued count. That means there are 199 chapters for the entire story right now! Isn’t that exciting?

Before we get to the news I am going to lament for a moment. You all suck. I gave you a poll and no one answered. I actually went through the poll and answered it myself, just so that I could check to make sure it was working. AHHH. Whatever. At this point, your opinions don’t matter.

I know that in the past when I have written the words update, it is usually to tell you all that I will be coming back from a hiatus soon. (I promise. I promise. I promise. Echoing in the background like a broken record player that will not keep that promise) This time is not that! I got better news.

You know what’s better than 2 chapters a week? 4 chapters a week! And you may be wondering. But MM, how is that sustainable? You are only going to get my hopes up for more content each week only to disappear again at a moments notice and leave me hanging for months. And to answer that I say! Actually no. I’ve actually finished all of YP Book5 for a first draft, and B4 is done. B6 is underway. I will not fall behind again, because I will be done by the end of the year.

I know it was my intention to write these chapters weekly, but we all saw how that turned out. So I decided to just go all out and instead of trying to balance posting with writing.

So why aren’t you just posting it all at once?

One. Content for the blog. Two. I want to edit it all, and editing takes more time than the word vomit that these chapters are, took to be written. Some of these chapters are only dialogue with no tags and no descriptions. They aren’t presentable lol. This does mean, however… At 300 chapters, you will start getting 6 chapters a week. At 400, you will get 8 chapters a week. (will we reach 400 chapters? Actually yeah. We will.) This will continue to ramp up until the grand finale!

Book 4 Completion Date (Assumed) : April 9th 2022

Book 5 Completion Date (Assumed) : July 1st 2022

Book 6 Completion Date (Assumed) : September 30th 2022

Book 7 Completion Date (Assumed) : February 10th or 11th 2023

Wrap Up (Assumed) : February 11th 2023

We are currently still in book four and we are going to be in book four for a while. It’s a monster. I told you that book 4, looked me dead in the eye, and obliterated my plans without breaking eye contact. It was extremely rude. Regardless! After too many writing slumps to count and more than one way-too-long hiatuses. We have an End Date.
