International B2B magazine Exhibit City News services over 10 countries and every state within the United States with a distribution of over 10k people, covering international trade show news.
It is important to note that while my title changed, my general responsibilities, and hours did not. I was brought in as the “Digital Editor” with responsibilities of the Managing Editor. This is in part because they had rotated through more than three editors in three years. The only thing that changed was the title and my pay rate.

Black Ink Ocean
BLACK-INK-OCEAN is your run-of-the-mill southern gothic literary news-mag. Dedicated to the genre of the southern gothic, the magazine aims to share the stories of minorities in the south (USA).

Department of Parks and Recreation
Subdepartment: Special Events
I started working with the department of Parks and Recreation, Special Events, shortly before the lockdowns during COVID-19. Once we went into lockdown, the department had to furlough us all, and then quickly brought us back on as soon as restrictions on events were lifted. When I went to school in Glasgow, Scotland for 2021-2022, I was on temporary hold for the department. In order not to time out of the system, they had me periodically do things for social media. When I returned in 2023, I immediately was brought back in at full capacity.
The Special Events Department of Parks and Recreation, plan their own events, while also supporting all other events for the County (that are county run and planned events). This includes, commissioner events, cultural festivals, concerts, and more. The largest event planned and hosted by the Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation Special Events is Las Vegas Renaissance Festival or LV Ren Faire.
County Countess, Cordelia Clearwater | 2024-Present
As the County Countess, I was the face of LV Ren Faire’s Social Media account.
- Interact with guests during all active hours of the event. Answer questions, give directions, and assistance where necessary.
- Post live stories, interacting with festivities of the event, and when necessary give announcements with a human face (for public safety or otherwise)
- Create marketing campaigns that can be used to generate additional engagement, day of.
- Act on camera, providing details about the event, for day of promotions and for television networks.

I worked with the department of Parks and Recreation, Special Events between the years of 2018 and 2021. I formally left the department, when I went to school in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Special Events Department of Parks and Recreation, planned their own events, while also supporting all other events for the City. This included movie nights in the parks, cultural festivals, concerts, and more. We also were in charge of planning and scheduling community sports such as basketball, soccer, and baseball schedules.
Community Recreation Theater Teacher | 2018-2020
Taught children theater at the community recreation center. Classes were held twice a week (Tues and Thurs) for an hour. I had two classes each day. Each class had about 10 children ranging in ages from 6 to 12.
Front Desk Associate | 2019-2021
Record keeping for business relationships and events. Maintaining relationships with sponsors (business and community), food vendors, and volunteers. Maintained social media accounts, business email communications, and assisted with marketing and advertisement. Communication management between staff, community and staff, and community questions. Business and Contracts Intern | 2017-2018
As an intern my job was to work with the CEO and head of contracts on potential new talent contracts.
- Develop contracts with clients and negotiate redlines.
- Planned and developed their annual charity gala hosted in Huntington Beach. There were over 100 guests attending for the event and the auction that was held.
- Planned and developed a proposal with other interns for a live events space that could double as a recording studio, both for recording private sessions and live studio sessions.
- The concept was proposed, with a full budget, plan, and required audio and recording equipment.
- All aesthetics were planned out (Speakeasy 1920s themed).
