This was another Book Club book for this month, but because of work I was unable to go. As such, there is no book club thoughts time.
Continue reading “The Final Six Review”Alright! Here is your first review of the week. I have two more coming. Please keep in mind that I may be MIA for the next week, because I am going to France. I’m going to try to take some things to read with me, but there is no chance you will get them as reviews until I get back in March. Depending on how much I can read in the next three days, will determine what sort of book reviews you will get in the next few weeks.
Continue reading “The Forgotten Girl Review”Evester loved the look of terror that came when ever he did the unexpected. The way that the horror spread across the room once the cuffs dropped to the floor, made him feel alive. He loved being in control like this. The ability to make others know that he can the power, always enticed him. He could escape at any moment, and there would be nothing they could do to stop him. In seconds all the weapons in the room were aimed at him, making his body fall into a state he craved at all times. True danger.
“If we had listened to the Project and properly tested all people as we were supposed to, we would not be in this situation.” Evester smiled to them all as if he were not wanting to try more, to push harder, to place his life on the line.
“We have.” Someone snapped back.

There were beautifully lined and comfortable chairs along with tables and name tags that identified each council member. Images showed on the glass screens of multiple other councils all over the world. It was grand and awe inspiring, so much that Heia felt more intimidated than she had before.
“Ah. Full world council.” Evester chuckled as they walked into the room. He led her on towards the seats in the center of the room, where they would be interrogated.
Heia’s training kicked in the moment they were seated in the center. Her eyes darted towards all he exits to find their best ways out. Find all the exits. Look at all the guards. Figure out who could stop them and how. Map out what she knew of the building, which was little.

He liked watching as she moved, for it gave him some sort of entertainment as they waited. Her shadow grew and faded, cast light over him and then darkness. She was inconsistent in her pacing, keeping him on his toes as she moved around him.
“What is taking so long?’ Heiphillia complained again.
“Its procedure.” He wasn’t entirely sure, but it seemed like an answer he could give her.
“You demanded to see them.” She didn’t understand that immunity gave them their holding room. Without it they’d be in jail, actual jail, without a chance to talk to the Council at all.
Continue reading “YP – B2: UtGoaFN – Chapter 38 (Chapter 84)”Heia watched as Evester stood for a moment looking like himself for the first time in what felt like forever. Heia did not particularly like the idea of them going out on purpose. However it was necessary. Everyone else was hidden, leaving only Heia and Evester in the spot light. They’d disappeared to take care of Zeydar as well as to plan their way out of the Tower in two days. This left Heia and Evester to be alone in their reveal.
“Are you sure you want to do this with me?” Evester asked her as they walked towards the location Evester had decided he wanted to be captured at.

I’m going to Europe for the next two weeks (12 days but same difference), and as such starting Tuesday of next week, you won’t be getting anything. So that’s two weeks of reviews. Which won’t bother most anyone.
Also, I’m going to give you all four YP chapters today and tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be solidified on my blog by next week Tuesday. Fingers, crossed.
See you all when I come back! Or you can follow me on Instagram/Twitter. I might still be using them. Otherwise. Until next time,
MM
